Summary

  • Attempting to chat with GLM-4.6 fails immediately with AI_APICallError: Payment Required.
  • Expected the model to respond without requiring additional billing.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open a new thread in OpenCode and select GLM-4.6.
  2. Send any prompt (e.g. "Hi").
  3. Observe the thread displays AI_APICallError: Payment Required and no model response.

Other models, like Kimi, GPT-5-codex, etc work just fine.

@fwang Hey Frank, the same "payment required" response appears when using Claude Opus 4.5 in Opencode Desktop 1.1.3. I’ve connected my Anthropic account and can’t start the session. It works in the opencode CLI version. Maybe I misconfiguration on my side?
