@Herdanis you can think of zen as an openrouter specifically for coding models. With a heavy emphasis on open source ones.

When you use zen you can be sure you are getting the best possible hosting (with a balance between speed + quality)

For openai & anthropic zen just routes directly to them, but for some teams/orgs it makes more sense to have 1 subscription and manage all expenses in one place.

Does that make sense @Herdanis ?

correct, openrouter does similar but they also have some poor providers that they can route you too, and zen is a much more select group of providers specifically for coding tasks which is more niche since openrouter has like every model ever
