Description

Have been experiencing this when trying to spend more time writing longer prompts. It makes it challenging because I often care about the end of the previous message from the LLM as it tends to write its conclusion at the end.

The line feels blurry here between a bug and a feature, but an item is an item :)

OpenCode version

v0.15.8

Steps to reproduce

  1. Start a conversation
  2. Talk to OpenCode until the conversation is as long as the maximum height of your window
  3. Type a message until it is longer than default message entry window size

Operating System

No response

Terminal

This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

  • #3271: [UI Error] cursor floats when terminal is a certain size - Similar UI layout problems when terminal is resized to certain dimensions
  • #3328: opentui: tui not resizing when window resizes - Related to UI not handling window resizing properly
  • #3311: opentui: switching to editor for the input mess up the TUI - UI rendering issues with input components
  • #3304: Calling /editor on a longer bit of pasted prompt should actually open the pasted text - Related to problems with longer prompts in the input area

Feel free to ignore if none of these address your specific case.
