Description

Pasting multi-line snippets into Windows Terminal just queues individual messages, circumventing the [pasted #1 N lines] hook.
Inside VS Code (powershell), it's even worse where it just slowly types the characters individually and sends multiple messages for every line break.

This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

  • #2821: Discusses Windows Terminal compatibility issues and artifacts
  • #1864: Reports pasting behavior causing premature execution before hitting enter

Feel free to ignore if none of these address your specific case.

Just adding further info - I'm on Windows, running opencode in git bash in Warp terminal, and getting the same issue
