Description

So the thing is, I learned out you can use AI in terminal from networkChuck, now opencode is insane.
the only bug that i expirenced was , i get so many screen bugs ( on windows) i've been using wlc to get ubuntu on windows, works perfect fine , great work.

now heres the problem:
if you're using windows with opencode , Idk if its the problem that i used the Npm to install it. but if i remember correctly it also happend on the .zip from the git, now let's talk about it
if im talking with it , sometimes i do /clear and it doesnt work , or if i scroll up it like removes the bottom and then i cant scroll down and i can't see anything from the new / other stuff. its a big problem also

the image shows it perfectly:

could be a easy fix , or not. its important tho . but reloading fixes it, also if i reload the graphics drivers it doesnt work so its a bug with the game

Image

also may it be a terminal bug? if yea what kind of terminal would you recommend

OpenCode version

v0.15.26

Steps to reproduce

Fix the bug but idk why , and how its going on. maybe its the writing the spaces , or a graphical bug

Screenshot and/or share link

Image

Operating System

Windows 11

Terminal

This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

  • #404: Windows Multiple Display Issue - Reports being unable to scroll in sessions and visual bugs when scrolling down where text gets stacked together on Windows
  • #2821: Recommended Terminal for Windows - Reports inability to scroll and answers getting squashed with only few lines readable across all Windows terminals tested
  • #631: Windows Support - A meta issue tracking all Windows-related problems including display/scrolling issues
  • #2548: Windows WSL/Jetbrains Goland scrolling bug - Reports scrolling issues where input box shows previous messages and characters get stuck when scrolling
  • #1864: TUI rendering artifacting - Reports TUI not being re-rendered/force-updated on Windows with visual artifacts
  • #2355: Bug: builtin command aliases like /clear don't work - Specifically mentions /clear command not working (same issue you mentioned)

The symptoms you're describing (Windows screen bugs, scrolling problems where you can't scroll down after scrolling up, /clear command not working) are very similar to these existing reports.

Feel free to ignore if none of these address your specific case.

This is a beta but is it better if u try bun x opencode-ai@opentui?

We are rewriting the tui and it fixes a lot of similar issues
