Description

So well im a bug hunter. but now i wanted to find a .python file , so it used grub and now if i press cancel (ESC) then it resets and i can't be fast enough do to it. well hope it ends soon

v0.15.26

Steps to reproduce

  1. Make it to not cancel the escape function
  2. Make it so it asks more stuff before.
  3. and maybe make it use something else

  • #3255: Similar ESC functionality not working properly - describes ESC stop working in various scenarios and being unable to interrupt operations quickly enough
  • #3300: Related to ESC ESC hanging behavior with tools (though this was closed as a feature request, it shows similar escape key functionality issues)
  • #3524: Grep tool failing - while not exactly the same, this shows issues with search/grep functionality that might be related to your Python file search problem

Ahh I bet some tools aren't handling this properly, ill check it out

Video was lifesaver had people say this but never provided means to reproduce now I know why it happens sometimes lol
