Feature hasn't been suggested before.

  • I have verified this feature I'm about to request hasn't been suggested before.

Describe the enhancement you want to request

more than any existing theme, I want opencode to use my existing terminal palette so that it doesn't require extra configuration/picking to blend in with the rest of the system.

This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

  • #101: Requests using terminal color codes by default instead of hex colors, which would achieve the same goal of blending with the existing terminal theme
  • #431: Discusses defaulting to system theme in specific terminal environments
  • #480: Requests OS dark/light mode sync functionality

Feel free to ignore if none of these address your specific case.

I was using it earlier today, and after an update, the 'terminal' theme is gone. Much nicer to have the option.

Yes I was using this too and it just broke with the update, looks very bad now with my editor theme. Before it worked seamlessly with VSCode's integrated terminal.
