I'm not sure if this is a bug or just a missing feature. I'd like to use the space key in my leader key like ctrl+space.

This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

  • #435: This issue discusses leader key configuration and specifically mentions using ctrl+space as a leader key in the workaround
  • #1241: User mentions using ctrl+space as their leader key, suggesting this functionality may already be possible

Feel free to ignore if none of these address your specific case.

yes, I can't seem to use it as a leader key:

It'll show it as the leaderkey in the interface but I can't actually use it like this

gotcha, thanks for raising, if u don't mind, can you state the version in the issue for any other opentui issues? I have an action that auto labels but it needs a version number to keep off of

Seems to have been broken in past week or two; anyone else using ctrl+space as prefix noticing this?
Couldn't find any new issues about it. I can try to bisect the exact version that broke it. Tried to bisect, but old version didn't work either. Guessing it's due to opentui version or perhaps Ghostty version? 🤷 I'm just switching my prefix for now.

Can confirm, just tried to make ctrl+space leader and was very confused when it didn't work. Using kitty term.
