Seems broken to me or is it because it's zsh?

In case helpful, here's another example of the background red/green highlights missing, on opencode 1.0.23:

Yea, would be really cool to get the diff highlighting and line numbers back as in the old version.
Makes a difference like day and night to get a grasp of what is changing in the files.

This seems to be working now with the latest update v1.0.132 for me at least.

Also I think the diff is a bit simpler then what I see from programs like delta. Like a darker color diff for the line of the exact changes in right side.

@contre95 One theme is called "system" which tries to rely on your current system. What Henry suggests is to choose another theme.

@rekram1-node is there an update on this? I've been having to manually switch my themes across machines because diff highlighting from the "system" theme doesnt work.

I think I got it fixed: https://github.com/anomalyco/opencode/commit/41cf45a16e0545f9882c8b2b2f258e8935ea19b4

Lmk if it works for u, u can test using bunx opencode-ai@dev to run dev snapshot (still deploying rn)
