Describe the enhancement you want to request

It'd be great to have more "fork points", it seems like currently I can only fork from my own messages, but being able to fork from messages from the model would also be useful too

Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
