This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

  • #2176: Missing readline Ctrl+N and Ctrl+P - describes same issue where Ctrl+N/P are bound to message navigation instead of file search navigation
  • #3640: 1.0.2 - Surprising unexpected ctrl+p/ctrl+n behaviour - describes how these keys used to work for navigation but now behave differently
  • #3379: opentui: readline-style keybindings not working - discusses Ctrl+N/P not working for list navigation in combobox/searchbox contexts

Feel free to ignore if none of these address your specific case.
