Opencode sometimes hangs when running in VSCode Terminal #2621

Description

Hi Team,

I have been running Opencode in the Vscode terminal on Macos for over a week.

I have been having a recurring issue where Opencode will completely hang and kill all vscode terminals in the window.

So far, this has happened after the following actions -

  • Resume a previous sessions
  • Click on the prompt area
  • Attempting to answer a tool permission question.

In all cases the hang is absolute and all vscode terminals get locked and turn orange and you have to exit vscode and start again.

Unfortunately, I have been unable to make it happen on demand but it has happened at least 1 time per day.

I have upgrade to v1.0.34 now but was running v.1x-1.0.28 previously it was still occuring.

I am unsure if this is 100% related but I can confirm this is happening at an alarming frequency. I can't operate a session longer than 4-5 minutes without Opencode exited to terminal with the 'killed' message. It has rendered opencode completely unuseable in this environment

it wouldn't have anything to do w/ your terminal. If something is getting killed you don't have enough ram on your machine it seems
