Description

When a previous prompt is still generating responses, any new prompt (that will be queued) is picking up the agent mode from the already running response, not the one set on the UI. E.g. if something is running in plan mode, it is impossible to send an "execute" command in build mode, until the planning completely finishes.

OpenCode version

1.0.51

Steps to reproduce

This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

  • #3330: Describes the same behavior where queued messages use the currently running agent mode instead of the selected UI mode

Feel free to ignore if none of these address your specific case.
