it only hangs when it trying to use tools but when just answering questions it doesn't hang. Removing all MCP servers does not fix.

Zai has a lottt of traffic, requests to it can hang sometimes. I guess we can be smarter with dropping connections and retrying but this is a common thing I hear about that provider specifically

I use nano-gpt which usually routes to chutes, I don't have this issue when using other tools (e.g. kilocode). I believe that since the tokens per second is so low, when it tries to write a large file, it just times out in the middle. If there's a way to figure out what does this timeout we can either turn this off or set the timeout higher

I'm seeing it right now, it happens every time opencode tries to write a large file, it just shows the building indicator for 90 seconds and then stops.

Having the same issue. Opencode randomly becomes unresponsive after calling a tool and giving approval. Started happening after
v1.0.85.Once the issue is encountered, hitting enter key doesn't work. Slash commands doesn't work. Even ctrl+c doesn't work. The animated AI message indicator continues to progress, but everything else is unresponsive.
Only ctrl+p command popup works with exit command.

I don't see any visual error, after 90 seconds of showing the visual animations that it is working on something, it simply disappears. When I ask it to do any task that would take under 90 seconds to complete (write a smaller file, edits etc.) it completes the task with no issues. I had this issue for a long time already so it's not version specific (it might even be nano-gpt timing me out?)

I tested Cline and see I have the same issues using nanogpt with Cline, will say this is a provider issue and close the issue.
