Description

The clipboard image paste does not seem to work when using opencode within Zed.

Zed 0.213.4

It works on Warp for me though.

OpenCode version

v1.0.107

Steps to reproduce

  1. Take screenshot
  2. Paste it into the opencode chatbox.

This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

  • #4077: In Memory Image can't be Pasted in Opencode After TUI Upgrade (similar clipboard image paste issue on different terminal)
  • #4668: Images can not be dragged and dropped (also related to image handling, though drag-drop vs paste)

Both issues are also related to opentui changes in v1.0 and affect image pasting functionality. Feel free to ignore if your specific case on Zed requires different handling.

Same problem with claude code btw! Just tested that.

Workaround for Claude Code is ctrl+v instead of cmd+v (on MacOS)
