Describe the enhancement you want to request

Similar to bash prompt, when trying to edit a long prompt, it is extremely helpful to have fast navigation and deletion shortcuts like with CTRL, it should skip whole words instead of characters. I noticed since a few versions CTRL-C now clears current prompt, that's good, the only missing is for navigation and partial fast word level deletion. I have been waiting so long many times just trying to navigate back to the middle of my prompt to add something, my keyboard press repeat is average but making it extremely high for this isnt the right solution in my opinion, bash CTRL based navigation is really the best solution to this for me.

I notice there are several mixed duplicates of this issue mentionning different sets of navigation shortcuts, but I can't see CTRL-backspace in any of them. A global issue for prompt input navigation should probably centralize all those issues.

Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
