Question

I've searched the issues and I've not found anything else about this, or I'm using the wrong language to describe this.

In pre v1 versions, I could turn off the blocks showing the agents actions. I don't need to see all of the build warnings whizzing past on the screen, but I do want to see the the commentary from the agent, which is getting lost.

Now that I can't turn these off when I want to it is becoming a massive usability issue for me. I can't see what the agent is planning and intervene if it is going off course.

I've tried 'toggle code concealment' (turns off backticks), I've tried 'toggl;e thinking blocks' (I never get to see them anyway)

Am I missing something. It is becoming a critical usability issue for me.

Ubuntu 24.04
bash 5.2.21
ghostty

Thanks

This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

  • #4582: [FEATURE]: Persist TUI thinking block visibility toggle or add config option - Addresses persisting the thinking block visibility toggle between sessions and potentially configuring default behavior
  • #2875: Have an ability to turn on / off thinking mode - Related request to control visibility of thinking/action blocks

Feel free to ignore if none of these address your specific case.
