Question

Apologies if this has already been covered — I did search existing issues, but terms like “opencode” and “AI” are understandably very noisy 🙃

I understand (and have seen explained elsewhere) that opencode.ai and sst/opencode are separate, unrelated projects, despite the naming overlap.

What’s confusing me is that the install script for both appears to be the same:

curl -fsSL https://opencode.ai/install | bash

Given that these are distinct products, I just want to double-check that running this command installs this project, and not the other one.

Thanks in advance, and sorry if I’ve missed something obvious.

Nvm, I think I get it now.
It's not opencode.ai (the website) that is a different project, but rather the GitHub repo opencode-ai/opencode, which has now been renamed crush anyways!
Sorry, this wasn't super clear at first.

This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

  • #5476: Install script issues on Windows (includes confusion about install one-liner)

Feel free to ignore if none of these address your specific case.
