This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

  • #3125: [ENHANCEMENT] Jump to current output point - directly asks for a button/link to jump to current output
  • #3422: opentui: doesnt "auto scroll" as stuff streams in - related request for auto-scrolling behavior

Feel free to ignore if none of these address your specific case.

i refuse to believe ctrl+alt+g,end is the fix talked about in https://github.com/sst/opencode/issues/3125. Almost every application has this scroll down ui in any "conversation" style chat. Close if you disagree but would be nice!

I think we already have a toBottom function in the session scroll the feature can be implemented, what we need is a design. We can implement it with a /command functionality wise.

I think as long as u cna do it super minimally, would be up for someone to PR it, ideally with a few options if someone wants to propose any ideas before taking a shot that's good too
