Question

Title - most of the other coding agent assistants have an alwaysAllow and a disallow config option in the mcpservers configuration. I am not finding an analogous option in opencode's config or documentation. My use case for this is using third-party mcp servers, like spacelift's spacectl mcp server, I'd like to only allow opencode to perform read-only tool calls

This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

  • #4854: How to enable mcp tool approval dialog? - Also discusses controlling MCP tool access and requiring approval for MCP tool usage

Feel free to ignore if none of these address your specific case.
