Charm's Glamour library (https://github.com/charmbracelet/glamour) provides beautiful markdown rendering with syntax highlighting. Since OpenCode is written in Go, integrating Glamour would be straightforward and dramatically improve readability of AI responses with code blocks.

This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

  • #5675: markdown user messages aren't formatted
  • #3845: Markdown tables display as plain text instead of formatted tables
  • #3312: opentui: markdown is just rendered as text
  • #4988: [FEATURE]: Support Table Rendering in Markdown Format

Feel free to ignore if none of these address your specific case.
