Description

I lost all open changes in vscode and the entire session when I closed opencode in cli while I opened an opencode extension window after that. Changes reverted to what was open before the CLI was opened. It was completely got from git and filesystem and entire chat session was reset, but retained the same title. I dont see anything in my stash that would be new

OpenCode version

1.0.186

Steps to reproduce

  1. open vscode project
  2. open opencode in vscode terminal, do a session and changes
  3. open opencode as an extension, it should connect to a port
  4. close the cli terminal
  5. session resets

Screenshot and/or share link

No response

Operating System

mac tahoe

Terminal

ghostty, vscode terminal

This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

  • #4251: Concurrent sessions working on different repos interfere with each other - involves session state conflicts when running multiple OpenCode instances that affect file changes and session state

Feel free to ignore if none of these address your specific case.
