Description

Using xterm. I can't paste using middle-click. It works fine with other apps, incl. Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI. Probably the app is grabbing mouse events.

This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

  • #4754: Copy and Paste behaviour under Linux (directly mentions middle-click paste and mouse event issues)
  • #3684: [FEATURE]: On Linux/Wayland allow pasting with middle click

Feel free to ignore if none of these address your specific case.

Related to https://github.com/sst/opencode/issues/4754 but this is about middle-click paste, not wrong buffer or select to copy.

Related to https://github.com/sst/opencode/issues/3684 but this is about Xorg not Wayland.

I do like opencode so far, thanks!

Just wanted to second what the OP reported and add another data point (using X.Org and alacritty, opencode 1.1.53):

  • middle-mouse paste (from Primary selection) doesn't work, Shift+middle-mouse works
  • Ctrl+Shift+V (paste from Clipboard) works
  • mouse-highlight copies to Clipboard rather than Primary (also mentioned in #4754's "Second issue")
