Description

When attempting to log into Claude Pro / Max in VSCode Terminal, clicking the URL link loads only part of the URL into the browser instead of the whole URL.

Attempting to manually copy and paste the link into a browser includes quite a bit of TUI characters that are difficult to manually remove.

OpenCode version

1.0.209

Steps to reproduce

  1. Run opencode in a VSCode terminal
  2. Run /connect
  3. Choose Claude Pro / Max
  4. Ctrl + Click any part of the displayed URL

This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

  • #1168: Feature Request: Make Links Clickable (Ctrl+Left Click to Open)
  • #5799: [FEATURE]: Ability to click to open links in CLI
  • #4381: [FEATURE]: Clickable links

These issues discuss the broader problem of making links clickable in the terminal. While your issue specifically reports a bug where the URL is truncated and contains TUI characters when clicked in VSCode Terminal, the root cause may be related to how links are rendered and handled in the TUI. Feel free to ignore if your specific case differs from these feature requests.
