Feature hasn't been suggested before.

  • I have verified this feature I'm about to request hasn't been suggested before.

Describe the enhancement you want to request

opencode run offers --model so I can use opencode/gpt-5.2, but it offers me no flag to turn it to high; unlike the ctrl+t in the TUI.

This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

  • #6651: [FEATURE] Dynamic model selection for subagents via Task tool (discusses adding model tier/variant selection across the application)
  • #6558: [FEATURE]: give task/subagent an optional config to choose what model it runs on (similar feature request for configurable model selection)

Feel free to ignore if none of these address your specific case.
