Describe the enhancement you want to request

AFAICS there is no way to edit queued prompt messages. In Claude Code, you can press Up to edit them:

#4821 was originally about unqueueing messages rather than editing them, although I see this comment suggesting that the former could be solved by the latter. So if (and only if!) #4821 extends its scope to include editing of queued messages as well as unqueueing then I'd be fine with closing this as a duplicate.
