Describe the enhancement you want to request

Lots of times lately I'm staring at opencode with its "pending" bouncer animation going left and right and I'm completely unsure what I'm waiting for. It would be nice if there were some indicator, even if it's just color or symbol-coded, to explain what I'm waiting for. i.e. in the latest message in this image, I am probably not waiting for a grep to take a few minutes. I think what I'm waiting for is an OpenAI api response, but I have no context.

It would be nice to know when I'm waiting for:

  • LLM API response
  • MCP api response
  • local command
  • more...

My terminal looked like the below image for minutes. No errors, just silence and a bouncing animation.

Delete Branch "%!s()"
