Feature Request: Add MiniMax AI Model Support (including M2.1-lightning)

Description

I would like to request adding MiniMax AI models to the supported model list. MiniMax is a leading Chinese AI company that provides powerful language models with competitive pricing and excellent performance. Adding support for these models would significantly increase the options available to OpenCode users, particularly for Chinese language support.

Requested Models

  • MiniMax (base model)
  • MiniMax M2.1-lightning (faster/lighter variant for quick tasks)

Use Case

I want to use MiniMax models for:

  • Coding tasks and programming assistance
  • General conversation and Q&A
  • AI-assisted development workflows
  • Chinese language content generation

Additional Information

MiniMax offers:
