Describe the enhancement you want to request

Summary

Add a way to see the current version in the session header, when the sidebar is collapsed, as well as add the version to /status dialog.

Why?

There is no quick way to see the version when the sidebar is collapsed, and /status gives a bunch of information already, the version as well would be nice.
