Feature hasn't been suggested before.

  • I have verified this feature I'm about to request hasn't been suggested before.

Describe the enhancement you want to request

See image. Please formally support .agents as a standard location for skills. Yes we can symlink, it would be nice for opencode to contribute to solving the problem vs adding to it.

This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

  • #8533: Allow custom skills directories to be provided via config
  • #6347: Plugin Hook for Registering Additional Config Directories (provides mechanism for configurable discovery paths)
  • #6635: Support subdirectories in agent folder (related organizational request)

Feel free to ignore if none of these address your specific case.
