Describe the enhancement you want to request

Hey,

Codex performs best in its harness. It also has best in class compaction features.

I was wondering if opencode could support

  1. Codex tool suite when using codex models
  2. Codex native compaction
  3. Codex's experimentlal steering, as impld in the codex repo.

Ik this is a lot but also codex is kinda the best coding model out rn and will likely stay in the top contenders for like a year so it would be pretty cool if we could use opencode but still get the same features and performance. thank you for your consideration !
