Feature hasn't been suggested before.

  • I have verified this feature I'm about to request hasn't been suggested before.

Describe the enhancement you want to request

Hi, we're testing the viability of using the OpenCode harness instead of the Claude Code harness and so I've gotten OC installed. The first thing I wanted to see is how much of the existing CC infra/primitives OC would support out of the box.

I was very happy to see Skills supported, even looking at the Claude folder to find them. However, I was immediately alerted (presumably via OC?) to some "invalid" properties in the front matter, among them allowed-tools

Claude supports this, of course, and it is part of the open standard. OpenCode doesn't appear to support any sense of allowed tools although, unknown properties are just ignored.

If there's not already a plan to have full support for the Skill specification, this issue is for that.

This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

  • #7213: Support for agentskills.io Standard - requests standardized skill discovery and the agentskills.io protocol

Feel free to ignore if this doesn't address your specific case.
