Description

I've been using OpenCode for about a week. I've been working in $HOME/projects/my-project. I've been using GLM 4.7 from OpenCode Zen. It's been working great!

However, I just tried to run it in $HOME (instead of a subdirectory) and as soon as I typed a message I got a "No payment method" error, and it appeared to switch to Gemini 3 Pro. (I don't have a payment method set up with OpenCode Zen.)

I tried running it again in the other directory ($HOME/projects/my-project) and it worked again and didn't switch models. I tried a third directory, $HOME/misc, and I got the error again.

Scratch that. After switching directories a couple times I'm getting the error no matter the directory.

Ah-ha. I ran /connect and re-entered my Zen API key and it's working again.

The behavior still seems like a bug (or, at a minimum, poor UX), though, so I'm going to leave this open for now.

Edit: Apparently I now have to run /connect anew every time I start OpenCode, which is not ideal and definitely a bug.

User @huangy-coder confirmed it was the skill called "Superpowers" that caused this issue in issue #9800

I can confirm after i uninstalled Superpowers it works again. Check if you have this skill installed.

FWIW there's an issue for this in the Superpowers repo: https://github.com/obra/superpowers/issues/301 Hopefully they'll get it sorted on their end.
