Auto mode would be really useful, especially with the 10% discount.
If the selector can detect the best model based on your context and usage, it would save time and avoid guessing.
A simple implementation could be “Auto = best available model for current task”.

As a Copilot Subscriber it would be fantastic to be able to access the 10% discount using auto mode.
I know the endpoint used in VSCode is https://api.github.com/copilot_internal/automode

Is opencode allowed to use endpoints with thie copilot_internal path? https://github.blog/changelog/2026-01-16-github-copilot-now-supports-opencode/ doesn't provide many details.
