Feature hasn't been suggested before.

  • I have verified this feature I'm about to request hasn't been suggested before.

Describe the enhancement you want to request

Copilot for ChatGPT models now support xhigh reasoning and give options for the same. I would appreciate if OpenCode does it too.

Further, I can't select reasoning in ACP so would love the functionality there too.

This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

  • #8973: Zed OpenCode ACP thinking variants cannot be accessible
  • #6864: No reasoning at all through Github Copilot provider
  • #8838: After logging into OpenCode using GitHub Copilot, the reasoning process is not displayed when using 5.2 Codex
  • #10093: [FEATURE]: Expose GitHub Copilot 'Auto' option in model selector
  • #9969: Persistent invalid reasoning value ('low') overrides env and CLI settings

Feel free to ignore if none of these address your specific case.
