Feature hasn't been suggested before.

  • I have verified this feature I'm about to request hasn't been suggested before.

Describe the enhancement you want to request

Sometimes a model does not pick up a skill consistently enough; this happens especially with weaker models, like GPT-5-mini.

Would it makes sense to include manual invokation via TUI, like

/skill my_awesome_skill [[User Message]]

This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

  • #7846: Proposes both /skills command to list available skills and /skill:<name> syntax with autocomplete for quick skill invocation - directly addresses the same need for manual skill invocation when models don't consistently pick them up

Feel free to ignore if none of these address your specific case.
