The desktop app is missing an "Add Provider" option to connect to a custom provider.

I run my own models in oobabooga/text-generation-webui both locally and on cloud servers (e.g., runpod).

It would be good to be able to connect API to the desktop app so I can run my own models.

There also is no llama.cpp option in the list.

This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

  • #7444: Does "OpenCode Desktop" currently support connecting to local ollama models?
  • #10814: Desktop app model selection limitations (similar request for non-Claude models)
  • #6555: Non-openAI models return no response in desktop app (related functionality issue)
  • #9311: [FEATURE]: Use models.dev data for custom providers (related to custom provider management)

Feel free to ignore if none of these address your specific case.

This was just added in the latest release, under "Custom" in the connect provider dialog
