Description

https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/b023472a-ce57-4293-9629-5d4aeb06dd2a

Environment

  • IDE: JetBrains Rider 2025.1.6
  • OS: MacOS
  • Terminal: zsh

Details

Scrolling up in the opencode window does not work. Instead, scrolling actually shows previous prompts in the history. The only way I can find to scroll up is to highlight-and-drag text until the window scrolls up.

Of course, the alternative is to not use opencode within a terminal within the Rider IDE. (For example, this is not a problem inside VSCode.) Reporting this anyway because I'm sure some users prefer this flow. Unclear if this bug is from opencode, zsh, or Rider.

Plugins

No response

OpenCode version

1.1.49

Steps to reproduce

  • Install Rider IDE
  • Install zsh
  • Open terminal inside rider and give a long prompt to opencode. Then try to scroll up.

See video above.

Operating System

MacOS 26.2

Terminal

zsh 5.9 (arm64-apple-darwin25.0)

I encountered the same issue when using the opencode plugin in vscode.
