This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

  • #9989: [FEATURE]: improved visual position indicator for subagent sessions - This relates to visual indicators and agent-related UI improvements, though it focuses on session position indicators rather than agent status indicators specifically.

Feel free to ignore if none of these address your specific case.

These are not agent avatars, these are projects. Are you suggesting that the app should show the indicator on top of the project avatar, whenever at least one session is working?

Yes, I suggest adding a status indicator on the project avatar, which should be displayed whenever at least one session under that project is in a "working" state (e.g., processing, running, or actively waiting for input). This would allow users to instantly see which projects are currently active without having to navigate into each one, significantly improving usability and efficiency.
