Feature hasn't been suggested before.

  • I have verified this feature I'm about to request hasn't been suggested before.

Describe the enhancement you want to request

On a small laptop screen or a normal screen with bigger fonts, almost half of the screen is "wasted" on information that should not be necessary.

One possible way would be to rearrange existing components on the screen, as in this screenshot.

  • Current content is marked red. The goal is to make this area as high as possible.
  • Blue areas can be moved to the right of the input text box. That would make the box a bit shorter but would save vertical space.
  • Green areas don't need to be always on screen. That can be made the top of the red content area and would disappear when scrolling, leaving more vertical space for the actual content.

Of course, layout may be made more dense vertically. to gain a bit more space.

This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

  • #11828: Mobile view is cluttered and needs UI improvements
  • #11977: responsive session panel resizing clipping desktop

Feel free to ignore if none of these address your specific case.
