This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

  • #12249: GLM-4.7-free not working - Same "Insufficient balance or no resource package" error when using GLM-4.7-free despite having account balance
  • #10718: HTTP 500 api_error: insufficient balance (1008) when using free model - Free models triggering insufficient balance errors even with sufficient account funds
  • #11114: GLM-4.7 is not free in OpenCode Zen? - Similar issue with GLM-4.7 billing/payment requirements

Feel free to ignore if your specific case differs from these existing reports.

I'm getting this too on a Z.ai paid Pro plan, no quotas hit.

I'm seeing it to with a Pro plan with GLM 5 and GLM 4.7. GLM 4.7 flash works fine though

If you have Z.AI Coding plan subscription, as I see, in Providers better to choose Z.AI Coding Plan (not just Z.AI)

Yeah, had the same issue but turns out I had connected to the wrong provider. There's 'Z.AI' and 'Z.AI Coding Plan'. Make sure to use the correct provider for opencode.

The reason GLM 4.7 flash works is because it's free.

Thanks, switching provider to coding plan fixed it for me
