Bug Description

Kimi K2.5 has Session state issues for me - some sessions work fine, but many sessions just won't "load" Kim - it hangs indefinitely on first activation - no way to get it to work in that session again - double esc doesn't work, switching to a working model and then back doesn't work.

Environment

  • OpenCode version: Latest (main branch)
  • Provider: OpenCode Zen (PAID tier)
  • Model: kimi-k2.5
  • Platform: macOS
  • Other models tested: ✅ glm-4.7, minimax-m2.1 work fine

Issue Needs further Investigation, ill reopen when ive tracked it down.

@rekram1-node - it seems to be a session based issue for me - when Kimi K2.5 works In a session it will work for the whole session. when it hangs from the first message I can't get it activated in the same session - double escape - switching to a working model and then back to Kimi K2.5 nothing works - it will stay "broken" for the session.
Sry for the false Alert with the DONE marker - seems to have been hallucination of my llm.
Ill open a new issue as soon as I have nailed down the potential cause for my session state problems with Kimi k2.5
