Describe the enhancement you want to request

From Day 1 i have not been a fan of the workspace icons on the left. They are either the first letter of the workspace or icon it resolves (probably still beta). Honestly this does not work for me, i have 5 workspace that start with "V" that would also have the same icon if it were resolved.

Would love there to be preference on how to display these workspaces.

Much more prefer the Codex way with a tree view of the workspace with their titles. You can show the ones you work on and hide the others until needed. I don't have the issue where with 5 projects with the same "V" icon in different colors.

Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
