When running OpenCode in Ghostty on Zorin OS 18 (Ubuntu 24.04 base), closing the terminal tab and then pressing Tab in a new tab causes OpenCode's UI to render corrupted glyphs/garbled text at the top of the screen.

Expected:

  • Tab should switch agents (Plan/Build) normally.

Actual:

  • UI shows corrupted characters and the screen state becomes visually broken.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open opencode in Ghostty.
  2. Open a new tab in Ghostty.
  3. Close the terminal tab (using keyboard or mouse).
  4. Press Tab (agent switch between Plan and Build).
  5. Observe corrupted UI rendering.
