This issue doesn't fully meet our contributing guidelines.

What needs to be fixed:

  • Steps to reproduce: This is required for bug reports but left empty. Please provide clear steps showing how the error occurs.
  • Operating System: Empty and critical—what OS and version are you using?
  • Terminal: Empty—which terminal/shell are you using (PowerShell, Cmd, Git Bash, etc.)?
  • Context: The description only contains the error message with no explanation of what you were trying to do or your setup.

For Windows PowerShell errors like this, we need to know:

  • How did you install OpenCode (npm, installer, etc.)?
  • What was your PATH configuration?
  • Are you using a specific Node version manager (nvm, nvm-windows, etc.)?

This issue might be a duplicate of existing issues. Please check:

  • #11405: Terminal error not opening opencode (very similar Windows PowerShell error)
  • #2447: How to install OpenCode easily on Windows (closed issue documenting Windows installation issues)

Please edit this issue to address the above within 2 hours, or it will be automatically closed.

If you believe this was flagged incorrectly, please let a maintainer know.
