I am starting in a empty folder opencode using Claude Max subscription. on a simple Hi it produces 11.2k tokens in a right info panel.
Is there any particular reason for this and should I be worried about that much token usage?

this is normal - claude code is the same the tool descriptions add up to a lot. it's all cached so subsequent requests to this session are a lot cheaper
