Preserve the original PR history after reconciling it with current main. The full source tree at 2710efe402 exactly equals main 68f4dd3406 (89d1b981df); all original changes are present or superseded by reviewed newer implementations.

Verification: exact-head hosted checks inspected before merge, including CodeQL. The light-change native jobs deliberately skip tests; this merge introduces no source changes and does not claim a fresh native test run. Detailed carrying-commit evidence is in the PR body. Source branch and original authored commits are preserved.
