Users reporting one conversation appearing many times in the sidebar have to be
walked through %APPDATA%\reasonix\projects\<slug>\sessions by hand, and the
answer to "is this a recovery fork, a repeated create, or a dual writer" lives
in the .jsonl.meta sidecars nobody knows to look at.
The script collects it in one double-click: the session listing with content
hashes, the meta lineage (parent_id, recovered, recovery_reason,
recovery_depth), the conflict and lease sidecars, running Reasonix processes,
and doctor output when the CLI is on PATH. It groups the findings by identical
content, by title, by topic_id, and by zero-byte, so the three causes separate
in the report itself. Chat bodies never leave the machine; titles are truncated
and the user is told what is in the zip before sending it.
.gitattributes pins *.bat to CRLF. cmd.exe misreads an LF-only batch file and
runs past exit /b into the payload, which is what the file does on any checkout
that normalizes it — core.autocrlf hides this on Windows only.
