Problem: The session sidebar mixes one- and two-line titles and reserves too much vertical space. The persistent local-selection entry adds another blank row between the filters and the machine tree. Root cause: Studio clamps titles to two lines with a 42px minimum row height and vertical margins; SessionBatch renders its entry even outside selection. Fix: Use 34px single-line rows with full-title hover hints, move local batch selection into the machine menu, and restore focus to that menu on exit. Keep batch archive/delete and neighbouring row actions intact. Add browser geometry coverage to Studio CI, interaction regressions, parity/release notes, and before/after screenshots for light/dark wide and narrow windows. Verification: Go formatting, vet, lint, builtin/boot tests, frontend typecheck and build, UI census, browser geometry and affected interactions passed. The frontend full run passed 4156 of 4157 tests; the unchanged HTML-preview failure passed all 26 tests on isolated replay. The optional translation scan reports the same two missing test-only keys on the base and this branch.
