Windows CI failed with "invocations = 0, want 1". The stub was the problem, not the code: a #!/usr/bin/env bash script cannot be executed there, so the child never ran, the log was never written, and the assertion blamed runSegments for a shell that had not started. fakeAgent already guarded against this; the failed-leg test wrote its own stub and inherited nothing. The guard is now a named helper both call, so the next test that writes a stub has one obvious thing to reach for.
